“The Hottest Data Center Companies of 2025 isn’t just an expression to describe the financial direction of the data center market,” say the editors in CRN Data Center 50: The Hottest Data Center Companies of 2025.

The data center market enjoyed record, double-digit growth last year. The data center opportunity continues to grow even in the face of an uncertain trade environment, but sustainability is increasingly a hot topic as organizations continue to advance and mature their AI strategies.

Hitachi Vantara: At The Convergence of Data Center Sustainability and AI

Hitachi Vantara, named to the CRN Data Center 50, recognizes the challenge of responsibility meeting massive data center demand—and the opportunity that challenge presents for partners and customers.

“The convergence of sustainability and AI presents our largest market opportunity for 2025,” said Sheila Rohra, CEO of Hitachi Vantara, in CRN’s "CEO Outlook 2025" article. “With data centers projected to double their current 3% share of global power consumption by decade’s end, there’s a tremendous opportunity in retrofitting existing facilities rather than building new ones.”

The CRN article highlights Hitachi Vantara’s use of in-house analysis to reduce CO2 emissions and remodels existing facilities in order to minimize environmental impact.
