Hitachi Vantara and NVIDIA have announced a joint initiative for a groundbreaking portfolio of AI solutions in industrial markets, aptly named Hitachi iQ. With a focus on driving tailored AI outcomes, Hitachi Vantara's collaboration with NVIDIA heralds a new era of AI-enabled digital transformation. 
 
As the demand for AI-driven insights surges, solution partners and organizations everywhere grapple with the challenge of supporting resource-intensive AI workloads. AI-driven Architectures
 
At the core of the Hitachi iQ portfolio lies NVIDIA's AI technologies, synergistically integrated with Hitachi Vantara's storage platforms. Scheduled for launch in the first quarter of Hitachi’s fiscal year, the initial offering powered by NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs will pave the way for AI-driven architectures.
 
Beyond the launch, the Hitachi iQ portfolio will encompass a spectrum of offerings, including high-end NVIDIA HGX solutions, midrange PCI-E based offerings, and accelerated storage nodes powered by Hitachi Content Software for File (HCSF) storage technology.
 
Charlie Boyle, vice president of DGX platforms at NVIDIA, affirms the impact of these solutions, saying "With solutions built with NVIDIA DGX infrastructure and software, Hitachi Vantara customers will be able to create AI Centers of Excellence to turbocharge their generative AI strategies."
 
Moreover, leveraging Hitachi's deep expertise in industrial markets and operational technology (OT), the collaboration extends to the creation of industry-specific generative AI models, aiming to address the unique challenges of diverse industrial sectors.
